  1. Today I received a note from Crucial that might be of some interest to you. They are currently running a special deal for their Radeon 9700 videocard, you get a "£25 off" discount on the Crucial Radeon 9700 Pro graphics card when you purchase a 512MB Crucial DDR memory upgrade.

    With the discount, the Crucial Radeon 9700 Pro costs just under
    £200. The offer is available for a limited time and as always, it includes Crucial's lifetime warranty and free shipping, in some cases, too.

    That doesn't really sound like an excellent deal. I mean 512MB of DDR, especially Crucial's, is another $180. All to save $40! That's $435 on 512MB of slow DDR and a 9700. Doesn't sound good to me. Should be more...but hey, I'm cheap! :D

    hey but if you were planning on those upgrades anyway, money off is money off. this stuff costs enough anyway, so anything less is good.
