Dell dimension E310 problem

Hi Guys , I am new to this site and I am having trouble with my dell e310,, It was sitting for a while and when I went to use it nothing would happen , the power light is on and the numbers 1 and 2 are light up on the front of the comp. ,, Any Ideals?? Thanks

The E310 has had early failure of the hard drive, and of the LCD Screen inverter.
Try shutting down by pressing the on button for 12 seconds.
The wait 20 second and press the on button, while then repeatedly pressing the <F8> key once per second to see if it will start in SAFE MODE.
If you do not get a screen in Safe Mode, your screen inverter has likely gone bad... a fix that requires a technician who knows which inverter to order...
But it could still be the hard drive, so you may want to try other options such as attempting to boot to a CD...
