looking for help with my lap top light comes on for a few second then goes out
was told it was a mother board bought a used tested motherboard does same, new cpu same, new ram the same only thing left was the video card anybody else had this problem with this model

Hi
Defective battery or charger.
Loose connection on the board when swapping it.
Restrip and check all plugs and connections and use a voltage meter to check your PSU.
Remove the HDD and see if it works.
clean memory strips and reseat.

well I found the problem, Dell & computor store both said main board, some say switch some say battery & or power supply, but it turns out the video card is the culprit. diconnected video card & it powers up will post back latter after new video card arrives
