directx problem

theres a problem with my directx 9.0. It seems when im loading up all the information the bar stops with direct-play. It cant gather all the information for direct-play. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

what kind of hardware are you running o nt he machine in question. older video cards frequently have trouble with dx 9.0c, i'd check that first. also update your video card drivers (unless done so already).
