My computer "B" doesn't have any problems logging into my PayPal account. But my compuer "A" cannot login to my PayPal account. I can get to the main page of PayPal on computer "A" but when I try to log in I get the page cannot be displayed message, and at the bottom it says DNS error.

Computer "A" has IE5
Computer "B" has IE6

Are there some settings wrong or do I have to put IE6 on computer "A"?

Also both computers are networked peer to peer.

Any suggestiond out there?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thank you

There are two possibilities.

First, I am betting this behavior applies to all secure sites using SSL. There are different version of SSL and is possible that your settings have changed to disallow certain SSL versions or SSL completely.

What you should do is open Internet Explorer and go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced and click the "restore defaults" button. Restart the browser (or perhaps even your computer if it doesn't work the first time) and attempt to access any secure site again. It should work.

If it does not work, then it is another problem I have seen for which I have no solution. Check out the MS knowledgebase in my signature for more info.
