Dont want to install directx (april)!!!!

I downloaded me a copy of the f e a r single player demo (the 1st one to come out) and it ses i need to install directx april evan tho i got the latest one already installed, if i choose no i dont want to install it, it quits the whole installer for the demo......AHHHH

will it not install it if i click yes cus it detects the newer version do you think?

just click yes, i have found a couple of games that do something similar to that. Just click yes to install direct X! ti will detect that you have the latest version of DX and stop then move on to finish installing the actual game.
