Double or single click

Do you have your mouse options set to double (default) or Single Click?

Double. My gf has single click enabled and its always a pita to use her comp, lots of unintended things happen.

Might it just be a pita because you aren't used to it?
I know I have a local friend that refuses to change & I'm always messin' it up due to me being a single click fanatic.

Ok, I looked back at what I wrote, and I can see how I didn't properly clarify what happened. I was actually a bit confused too.
I merged posts from 2 different users, when that happened, I chose circusboy to be the author of the merged posts, that DID happen (it is now post #7 in this thread). Unfortunately, I think it took a timestamp later than the intended first post in the merged threads (my intention was to have post #7 stay as post #1 with circusboy as the author). Benny26, I believe, was the first person to reply in the original thread concerning this topic, so when the original first post got its timestamp changed to the timestamp of the post I merged with it, it got dropped down the list. So, since Benny26 now has the earliest reply, he becomes the starter, even though that isn't how it happened originally.

So I'll accept the blame for all this confusion, merging threads isn't terribly new to me, I've merged a lot. But I've never attempted moving a thread to a new forum (can no longer merge between forums afaik), merging 2 threads, editing a poll, and merging comments from 2 different users all at once.

Also, circusboy01, in an email notification you get the originally submitted text... A lot of times, with my posts, I'll post and then see something and quickly edit. For example this post has been edited 3x now, but since I'm doing it within 5 minutes, it won't show up as edited in the bottom of this post. So, you should read what is actually on the boards too, because there might be additional information.

Never mind, It's not like a major well written guide that someone took alot of time over or something (no disrespect to Learninmypc :))

Well then, might as well get cracking. Thank you to everyone who replied to my thread. I hope more people will flock here to share their clicking status. :haha:

OK I'LL try to remember to always check the boards. As for the rest It's no big deal to me. I'm not upset at all. Why should I be? It's not like you caused irreversible
damage to any of our computers CB:D

Right, and I didn't mean any harm to egos either. It was just a lot of editing/modding all at once and I screwed up some of it.
