Duo core ?

hi guys ! I´m a new member and I would like to know my intel 915 gav motherboard if is a duo core. thanks hope to get my reply as soon as possible.

no, that's a motherboard number

Which PROCESSOR is in the board can be determined by going to"Control Panel >Performance and maintenance> then click on the "system" icon and in the resulting window click on the "general" tab it will tell you which type of CPU, what speed etc.

Is THIS your current motherboard?

If so, then you can't use/have a Core 2 Duo processor. The 915G chipset doesn't support the Core 2 CPU
