DVD/CD RW Drive not working

Recently my cd drive has been failing me since it fails to read cd's now. it has been getting worse and worse and now it wont read anything however clean or dirty the disc may be. i cant even play games that require a disc to play.

You don't have to take it apart just open the tray and clean the lens with a cotton swab and alcohol.

if itis an older drive then it is probably dying. what brand is it and how old is it?

o yeh its way old about 5 years. time for a new one i guess
