E-Machine T3604

After 3 years my wife's machine went dead. It was the PSU which killed the motherboard. Fry's replaced it with T3604. Does anyone have any experience, hopefully good, with this machine?

It comes with Vista Home Basic. This a whole new learning curve. I am trying to change the printer drivers, which must be buried in there somewhere.

Depending on the make and model, it may not work. Some HP printers have been identified on a HP site as compatible and they have also added info on alternate drivers already in Vista that will work for SOME printers.

ok, you know the first thing is to get yourself a decent 400 watt or greater psu*

turn off the puter when you not using it and emachines will last you awhile. I am on a t3422 right now and I love it for surfing and basic photo/ webpage editing..

go to the HP web site and download their drivers for your printer. It's easy, make sure you have the correct make/ model number for your printer...
