EA wants to place ads in full-price games, again

Well I wasn't being sarcastic.
And while I agree with the first part of your post, and the last line too (y) (Y) The core gamer has absolutely zero backbone, and wildly and openly bitching and moaning is their only response, because they will never just "not play the game"

And I could counter your end comments by saying there is more to life than letting the smallest parts of life absolutely ruin their outlook and keep them hiding under their beds.
Why in the world does walk past an in game billboard for cheese puffs just ruin their frilly little lives? How can anyone go through life so fragile?
And do they want another price increase?
I think you answered your own question with "core gamer" and "frilly little lives."

And, I don't think they have a care about price increases, as they seem to have little else in their lives upon which to place value. Judging that on a limited sample on my part, and on purpose, as those are not the values I want to associate with in my life.

Probably. I guess we will never completely get it man.
It just seems so (fill in the blank :D) that running past a billboard for Pepsi, or zooming past a bag of Doritos on a kitchen table while chasing down a zombie, makes some people clutch on to their emotional support teddy bear.

....while they eat Doritos and drink Pepsi, and they cannot separate reality from the game. They gaze at the zombie, and become it......

If the advertisers want to pay EA for this then let them. They apparently have money to waste. If you don't want to see the ads don't buy the games
