Encryption of images

Hi Guys,

Few months back my PC got infected with CRYPTOWALL and it encrypted all my immage files and my brother thought formatting may works so he took backup and did that but all files are still encrypted now can some one guide me how to decry pt those files I can't try system restore option as my PC got formated I got very important images in that .

None known to me. Google on it and look at information on major security sites (bleepingcomputer, sophos, etc) as someone may have figured it out. Keep your backups and be patient. Good luck.
