Ethereum finally switches to proof-of-stake, ending GPU mining

I see a lot of cheap GPUs on Ebay... finally!
Saw the hashrates of ETC and Ergo skyrocketing as farms have switched over to those coins. wonder when PoW will be completely banned around the globe.
The annual energy usage of the ETH PoW network was equal to Chile's. That is insane and should not be allowed at all.
