My Firefox updated itself last night and today when I went in to my bookmarks, they were all gone.
Thats never happened before so I'm not sure what happened this time.
I dont have any of them on IE so I cant get them back that way but if theres any other way I can get them back, it'd be hugely appreciated.
If not, I'll just have to see if I can find the sites lol but I'd just like to be able to get them all back.
Any help would be great.
:)

First look here -

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\u2edln3i.default\bookmarkbackups

If no luck with that look HERE

Ensure Firefox is NOT running; check application processes or reboot Windows
to be certain.

Click start/run and type "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -ProfileManager

Include the quotes and the space.

This will bring up the Profile Manager.

First, uncheck the box next to Don't ask at startup. This will allow the
profile manager to open at startup as long as you have more than one profile
listed.

Next, select the profile named default(this should be the one with your
missing bookmarks) and click -Start Firefox-

Note: you can shutdown Firefox and go back to the profile manager with a normal launch of Firefox(not through run, but you can use run if you like to.

Once there, notice you can create new profiles, rename exising ones or delete
profiles.

See if that helps.

Regards Howard :)

Mmm that`s strange, because it works fine on my system.

You did make absolutely sure Firefox wasn`t running didn`t you?

Restart your computer and try again.

Regards Howard :)

Lol yeah, that was my fault.
It did work after I checked but my missing bookmarks werent in there either.
I dont know what happened.
Its as if when firefox updated itself it wiped all my bookmarks out which has never happened before.

Ok, try this.

Click start/search and select all files and folders. Type bookmarks into the search box and hit the enter key.

Once the search has finished, look for any bookmarks.html files(the ones with the Firefox logo on them). Choose the one with the latest date and right click on it and select copy.

Paste it in your documents somewhere.

Close the search window.

Run Firefox and click the bookmarks button, followed by manage bookmarks. Click on file and select import. Check the button that says from file and click next. Browse to where you pasted the bookmarks file and click on the file, click open. Close the bookmarks manager.

See if this helps.

Regards Howard :)

Oh goodness.
