First build, a question about fans?

Hi there. Brand new to this forum but after building my PC this morning, I reckon I will be about a bit. I have a question about the case fan I fitted to the side of the case. The case came with a funnel to mount to the fan which sits above the CPU fan. The thing is, I currently have the fan orientated to blow air out of the case. Is this correct? If I could figure out what the CPU fan is doing that would help but I can't see which way it spins as it fires up and can't really feel if it is blowing. What do you chaps reckon here, should the case fan be sucking air through the case, throught the funnel and onto the CPU fan or should it be sucking?

The funnel side should be blowing air into the case. The CPU fan blows air onto the heatsink.
