Graphics card help

hi i have a sony vaio pcg811cm.My problem is that when i try to play a game called minecraft it says i have a bad video card and no opengl and that i can fix it by updating my video card. my video card is a Generic non Pnp monitor on standard vga graphics. is there an update for this.Also i recentely updated (2days ago) form windows vista home premium to windows 7 professional and i deleted my windows.old file.
