Had a power outage, pc wont turn on now

We had a power outage in my building, and my pc was on at the time, so it shut off when the power was cut, then the power came back on about an hour later and my pc also turned on by itself, however about 2-3 seconds after turning on it just keeps restarting, my led fans turn on, and then they turn off for half a second and turn back on again, its like the power is cut for half a sec then restored, is my PSU gone? any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the surge from the outtage cooked your PSU. It's a fairly easy and inexpensive fix though.Find a similar one on NewEgg and replace it. Everyone here can talk you through it. Relax, it's all good.

most likely. If it wasn't surge protected or on an UPS, you might have a fried system.

it was on a surge protected power block...thats why im puzzled

Could be bad news

When you house power goes out,switch off the Power Supply even if
you have a Surge protection bar.
After it returns,switch the PWS switch back on.
Do this too when installing devices,only USB is hot wired.
