Hard drive will not start

Mark56. Thanks again for all of the help. I am going to put this one out to pasture short of the hard drive. Hopefully someone will be able to use some of the parts off of it and keep some of it from going to a landfill. If you are aware of anyplace that will accept used ones for parts let me know. If not Thanks again for everything I really do appreciate your help.

Can't really help with the recycling of the PC as I don't know what area you are in, Googling may find a business that is local to you.

Mark56. Yes I agree a better outcome would have been nice but at least you helped me learn a lot and I thank you for that. I am in the USA Midwest area so I will search for a recycle place around me.
