My sister comp had alittle problem afew weeks ago, it running real slow (have to wait at least 5 minutes before computer respond after log in) and sometime reboot itself, then I finally found out that the CPU fan was completely dead and the CPU temp went up to around 86 Degree Celieus. I had replace the CPU fan and I recheck the CPU temp and it running at most 35-40c but the problem is it still running slow, is that mean my sis's CPU going dead? do I need need to replace the CPU itself too?

Any input would gladly be appreciate...

How about some computer specs. If the temp got that high and the chip did fry, it USUALLY won't power on at all.
Could also be a virus, spyware problem as well.

A dead CPU wont run slowly, it wont run at all! If it's taking a long time to login, maybe you have way too many fonts installed or you have some kind of spyware-related problem.
