Help for a Belkin USB Wi-Fi device

Despite the fact it won't get me online, its little light still remains on. Very confusing.

As of this posting, this thread is now dead. Evidently the owner of the Belkin USB devise doesn't know how to "properly" remove a USB device from a pc. I thank everybody for your patient help & ALWAYS remember to use the safe to tremove feature when removing a USB device. AND do not discard the CD's/instructions that come with them.
