I have to move from my current Dell Laptop running Win/7 to my new Dell laptop with Win/10 installed. I don't know where to even begin. Is there some kind soul out there who can help a 59 yr. old get this task done or advise me to the best tool to use in moving files, folders, etc.or whatever I can move over
Thanks in advance

The only best way to do this is by a 8gb flash drive (sandisk).
Walgreens has really good prices on them.

Go to your my documents folders in windows 7, select all or any folders documents you want.
Right click, press the ctrl button then hit the c button, navigate it over to your flash drive.
Right click, select paste and it'll copy over any files you need.

If you don't want to do it that way, there is this but you need to pay attention have patience and have someone assist you.

Check with these people here if it gets too complicated during the process.

IMO -- ABORT and retain Win/7. I'm still on mine and will move off of Microsoft altogether before I move to Win/10.

That's right, only you are responsible for your decisions as I am for mine.
