Help kotor 2 problems

Hello i am new to this but i am having trouble with swkotor2 on vista i cant seem to get the tilde key to work (`/~) can anyone help?

Well first the obvious, does tilde work outside Kotor? If so then check out the following I found which I hope helps out. While its for Kotor1 I'd imagine it would work for this as well. Only played them on Xbox.
