Solved High ram and no process in explorer, + hot cpu

What does hardrvie computer temperature got to do with each other? it never overheated bad. just got hot. too hot I wont keep it like that. the overclock I done more than before was only done in the past week. I havent been benchmarking it. the pwm1 I never paid much attention to, but the things ive done in the past week have not been getting it to the temperature the spyware, whatever it was, got it to. not that much. what I do do, doesnt even get the cpu that hot and the pwm1 the other temperature that was hotter, doesnt even get any more than normally really.

nothing for me to say it was anything else. and why does my computer crash on the rootkit mbr scan of roguekiller? what I read mbr scans will get tdss to crash. this hardrive isnt used for anything with the operating system. hmm it does have the pagefile on it, thats it. the one that is giving me trouble. and its my E drive. has been, everytime. I just got it confused before. as of right now, all my cpu temperatures are good. everythings been stock. I dont set anything in bios but ahci option, and thats it. and the computer features I turn off.

I only had that overclock which I never done until recently lately, and it made my computer pick up the type of chip I have, and the beeping worked on the computer so I just set it to pick up those temps. so the beeping, temps and clock have all come around at the same time.

Not talking about HDD temps but CPU temps. Title of your topic shows your concern.

Why does roguekiller crash my computer and what does that have to do with E: and a spyware program?
operating system drive is C:

what steps should I take im tired of crashing my computer.

roguekiller crashing my computer and this locking up and crashing of my computer by this program coincided.. now its not my fault cause you asked me about my comptuer temperatures which I have stated, before I reflashed my bios off of the beta version that wasnt as stable with an overclock I had. reflashed it and set it back to stock computer speeds. back to stable. and your askign me now about my computer. im askign about this program that cant run on my computer.

The best option is to finish cleaning process here (Sophos) and if you still have issues create new topic in appropriate forum.
In this forum, we make sure, your computer is free of malware.
Because the access to malware forum is very limited, your best option is to create new topic about your current issue, at Windows section.
You'll get more attention.

What I meant is that the spyware was using so much computer usage, was that it was like running prime95 with it. I thought it might of been that bitcoin mining program, but thats video card stuff though. I cant do a chkdsk on my hardrive, e:, without my computer lockign up. any trying to save large files on e:, crashes it. I can read off of it all day.

im running this sophos test and as long as my computer doesnt crash ill post the log. my question is why the roguekiller test when it scanned the mbr was crashing my computer. also, dont know if this is normal, I have a windows me the full dos type boot floppy. when I run it, I get no hardrives, none that show up. I was goign to scandisk or chkdsk there.

any tricks to check my disk with scandisk before windows starts up that I can do? and ive done a data lifeguard test on this western digital,e: drive a quick test so far. and it shows no errors. thats whats got me confused whtat its doing.

Well, sophos, I guess it must start to scan the E: drive, cause it crashed and locked up my computer. I cant run roguekiller either. I tried it again last night to see if it could finish and it couldnt start up.

Don't worry about RK.
We run enough different tools to see if anything malicious is there.

I need to know how the program works. sophos said 0 things found after it finished with c drive. I ran it. c was clean. of course a few no cd cracks are on my computer it wants to delete now. I dont have time to search for what version this program that program is at to not use a cd for it. so, if you could tell me how sophos works, it said 0 threats found after my c drive was done beign checked, I didnt stop it, cancel. but if that means, im clean, im clean then. just tell me how the program works. if you dont know, ill have to unplug my other hardrives. the only thing the sophos pointed out was no cd cracks, keygens. im not deleting those becuae microsoft is paid to do so. microsoft is a piracy company that hacks peoples computers, w10. anybody concerned about peoples safety shouldnt be putting microsoft ahead of people. they are not the peoples information.

============================================

Your computer is clean

1. This step will remove all cleaning tools we used, it'll reset restore points (so you won't get reinfected by accidentally using some older restore point) and it'll make some other minor adjustments...
This is a very crucial step so make sure you don't skip it.
Download
51a5ce45263de-delfix.png
DelFix by Xplode to your desktop. Delfix will delete all the used tools and logfiles.

Double-click Delfix.exe to start the tool.
Make sure the following items are checked:
  • Activate UAC (optional; some users prefer to keep it off)
  • Remove disinfection tools
  • Create registry backup
  • Purge System Restore
  • Reset system settings
Now click "Run" and wait patiently.
Once finished a logfile will be created. You don't have to attach it to your next reply.

2. Make sure Windows Updates are current.

3. If any trojans, rootkits or bootkits were listed among your infection(s), make sure, you change all of your on-line important passwords (bank account(s), secured web sites, etc.) immediately!

4. Check if your browser plugins are up to date.
Firefox - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
other browsers: https://browsercheck.qualys.com/ (click on "Scan without installing plugin" and then on "Scan now")

5. Download, and install WOT (Web OF Trust): http://www.mywot.com/. It'll warn you (in most cases) about dangerous web sites.

6. Run Malwarebytes "Quick scan" once in a while to assure safety of your computer.

7. Run Temporary File Cleaner (TFC), AdwCleaner and Junkware Removal Tool (JRT) weekly (you need to redownload these tools since they were removed by DelFix).

8. Download and install Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI): https://www.techspot.com/downloads/4898-secunia-personal-software-inspector-psi.html. The Secunia PSI is a FREE security tool designed to detect vulnerable and out-dated programs and plug-ins which expose your PC to attacks. Run it weekly.

9. (optional) If you want to keep all your programs up to date, download and install FileHippo Update Checker.
The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases.

10. When installing\updating ANY program, make sure you always select "Custom " installation, so you can UN-check any possible "drive-by-install" (foistware), like toolbars etc., which may try to install along with the legitimate program. Do NOT click "Next" button without looking at any given page.

So I guess that means sophos was telling me clean eh? I wished I knew what that delfix was doing that it woudl tell me. I have a bunch of custom settings for the computer, stuff turned off and stuff like that. I ran it with the delete system restore, and the delete the disinfection tools checked. I cant beleive java, I just updated that the other day.. ok. ill check those updates and I usually do this stuff all the time anyway. ok neat programs. and ill remember and keep them somewhere. I like to use crapcleaner for temp files, as it has a bunch of other programs and settings like each thing for them in it too. I run it daily, all the time. and a flash cookie deletion file too.

I stil wished I knew what made the roguekiller crash. ? I fixed the hardrive. somehow. I plugged it into another sata port, on the motherboard, and now it doesnt have errors. dont know about that.

ok seems its good. thanks.

Thanks for helping. I wouldn't of known if my computer had any spyware or not. And I would of had something on my computer using up my computers time, if it was working right or not, or working and connecting to anything anymore, if I hadn't of got you to check it.
