HJT log for inspection.

This all begins with me trying to get Windows Firewall to work. I could not get it started so now its off, and I am now running ZoneAlarm (never could get WF working, missing all the dependencies).

So I decide to start running virus scanners and spyware checks. Nothing notable with Spybot, AdAware, and Avast, however, following the forum rules before posting I ran all the web scanners & AVG and this lead me to this post.

Am I missing anything else that needs to go?

Maybe I am missing something......what are you asking for help with? Is the question that you want to get Windows firewall back working? If so I wouldnt bother with it, stick with Zonealarm instead!

BTW.....In the future you will probably get more response by being a little more descriptive of your problem than entering "so...." in the header field.

sorry about that...my question is this..

I am looking to make sure that everything "bad" is cleaned off my comp. I took out what I recognized as bad and some that I was able to look up via google.

It's still pretty general though I know.

I am sticking with ZA but something deleted my Windows Firewall items, and I still don't know what it was.

I would say unless you can reformat and start over, go into the Security section and read the instruction on posting a HiJack log and wait for Howard to read it for you and tell you what you need to do......the link is below.
