Hello howard this is the report re: my problem with system running slow.

Please let me know if I have done anything wrong in this as tried to follow instructions to a T Hey im only a MSc student.

There is nothing in your log that is particularly nasty.

Get rid/uninstall anything you don`t want/use.

Let HJT fix this entry.

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe

I`m not sure what the Oxigen programme is. If you know that it`s safe and you need it then fine, otherwise uninstall it.

Ok thanks Yes Oxigen is just a screen saver from Uni I dont use it as such so will remove.
