Hi all.
I´ve red almost any thread refering to this "2 Speaker only" prob with HL2 and WIN XP.
And although I have updated the latest drivers including
Direct X ver. 9.0c
latest Audigy Driver I was able to update Audigy-win2k_xp.zip
Version: 2.0.0.10
it still won't work at all in HL2.
I'd like to update my Sound Drivers to Ver. 5.12.1.383(.exe). But since the .exe seems to be corrupt (1 File could not be extracted) and through the installation the file it needs "ctaud2k.sys" I do not have neither on my HDD or my SB Live 5.1 CD
I am unable to update my SB Live 5.1 to this Version.
Has anyone an idea how I could get my Sound Drivers updated and i mean up to date so that I am able to play HL 2 with 5.1 or at least 4 Speakers instead of lame 2 Speakers ?

865P Neo Sound onboard but disabled
