How does this box look?

My old computer got smoke damaged in a fire, but I am able to salvage the Phenom 9750 X4 and 3GB (3 x 1GB) of 800MHz Kingston DDR2, and a 500GB 7200 rpm HDD. I'm rebuilding the computer for my mom, who will use it for web browsing, storing photos, and watching movies.

What I want to keep in mind is ability to upgrade since my mom isn't likely to get a new computer after this one for at least six or seven years.

Do you guys think I'm skimping on the mobo? Think the video card is overpowered for mom computing?

I recommend this build instead, based on your needs:

Grand Total = ~$215, including shipping but not rebates. The motherboard is OOS, so if you can't wait, it's also available on Provantage for around the same price.

The SSD is unnecessary IMHO.
