Dynamic disks can contain a large number of dynamic volumes (approximately 2000) that function like the primary partitions used on basic disks. In some versions of Windows, you can combine separate dynamic hard disks into a single dynamic volume (called spanning), split data among several hard disks (called striping) for increased performance, or duplicate data among several hard disks (called mirroring) for increased reliability.

So Dynamic Disks is just a MS alias name for the industry term Logical Volume Support. Multiple physical drives are made to look as if there is one massive logical HD.

The other term for this is RAID-0. I encourage you to consider the issues for RAID-0
and the huge risk of total data loss for a very trivail performance gain.
Search this site for RAID

Why on earth would you want to do this anyway? Unless you have a good reason to go Dynamic, stick with the industry standard disk layout.
