one day i turn my computer on n my screen was all black with a message tellin me my computer was missing or corrupt n to try to fix this problem i would need to install the restore cds n i did but everytime i do it nothin happends so i would like to know how to fix this problem

How old is your computer? Normally all you need to do is insert the restore disk, and the PC takes it from there, all you have to do is follow the prompts. It sounds like you may have a bad HDD, but I don't really have much information to go by, so it's just an assumption.
If you could be a little clearer on your error, and also post what operating system you are using, it would be very helpful.
