I have a green screen when I try to play videos

i have a green screen when i try to play videos and it just happened randomly, so it cant be becuse ive got the wrong drivers or the os or if i formated because ive had my laptop for about 10 months now and i havent changed anything on it yet its still got all the same stuff that came with it.

any help would be gratefull asap.

You could try updating video drivers.

Most likely it's your video drivers have you installed a new graphics card or anything like that, or how long have you had your graphics card?

Green screen problem?

Can you say when do you get the green screen?
Is it all the time, the desktop, windows explorer, start menu etc,
or is it just when you try to play a video, and is it just in the video player?
Which video player are you using?
Are you playing a bought DVD or from Youtube?
What make/model is your laptop?
