I need to buy a new hard drive and found one but?
it says its compatible with a hp pavilion dv 8000T and i have a hp pavilion dv 8000, so i was wondering if it would work in mine.

Both laptops use the same standard 2.5 inch drive standard.
You should be fine as if the harddrive fits the 8000T it will be compatible with the 8000
