I got angry with qwest and switched back to cable last week for internet, now I am paying the same price a month, but getting faster internet! Anyway my cable modem doesn't have wireless, but my qwest modem does, so I want to rig it somehow to just be a wireless router. I think I've figured out what to do with the settings in the qwest modem, but can't figure out how to physically attach it to the cable modem. The cable modem has an ethernet, and usb output, and the qwest modem only has a phone input.
There's got to be a way, and if it involves taking the modem apart, I'll do it if anyone has good instructions.
Oh, the cable modem is a Motorolla sb5100, and the other is a 2wire 2701hg D
