I have an HP dv2000 laptop. I am trying to get the built-in webcam to record properly and I can't figure it out. When I use the HP software for the camera that came with the computer, 10 seconds of recording is over 100 megabytes...and the quality is amazingly terrible. I've tried for 1 year to figure out why the camera is like this, and I've had no luck. I've looked at all options, settings, etc, and there are none to change this. Why is the HP cam like this? I've had the computer for a year and I am not even able to put a simple video on youtube! Does anyone know why HP built-in webcams record 10 seconds using 100 megabytes?
