yeah i have coolbits but i dont know how much i can change the clock frequencies without damaging or overheating

The built in BIOS settings will shut down the gpu if it gets to hot.

Un-plug the computer or your way of manully restting it button etc, and give it another try at a bit lower speeds and continue the processes.

play a game it crashes, try again.
