hie people, i need to install and run xp from a usb. can anyone please send me the changed files of the complete ISO ready for burning on cd. my email is . i need these sooner than yesterday.please.

"I am running XP on a USB drive".

The basic principal as i understand it is...
USB devices are not seen by Windows set up as the drivers are not pre loaded like IDE and Disk (CD/DVD) Drivers.
USBoot enables pre-loading of USB Drivers.
Some small changes are also required to some files on the installation CD.
(extract, modify, re-integrate, burn new CD).

Why not take a look at the links provided ?

can't be bothered ? "no not really" :)

Hello Tony,

I managed to make the windows xp to start the installation on a usb, but durring install, after the first restart, durring the load of windows I get a blue screen (7B error).

I assume usboot can fix this problem, but I have no clue how to use it. My english is not so good, so I am begging you if you can help me with this issue.

What I have to do in order to install the xp on the usb ? I guess there is a problem with the USB Driver but I dont know how to fix it.

Please, give me a hand!

Thank you Tony,
Alex
