Internet access problem

My laptop run on Windows 7. I was using this laptop on a network of some other organisation to access the internet, now that I have changed to another organisation and I still need to use this laptop to access the internet, the problem is that I am failing to access the internet despite having changed the proxy server settings on Internet options>Connections>LAN settings option to suite that of my new organisation. Please help

First - if you have a problem asking your new organisation's IT department for help you do, as they say, have a problem unless you can find any special settings from some other user's machine.
Second - you should set the options in Connections as "never dial a connection" and then make sure the LAN settings are set to automatic (top option). That should work under most circumstances unless, as I say above, you need custom settings.
