Internet Security Settings

  1. I can't access the Security Tab on internet options! I need to change the security is set now to NOT allow downloads, isn't there a way i can do it through Regedit?....if it helps i'm on a network

    What OS are you in? You need to be be logged in as Administrator or have the privs of an admin in 2k or XP I'd bet.

    Yes, this is to prevent malicious activity by an abnormal user. Login as administrator and try again.

    Hi try this one. I am an administrator on a W2K server as you mentioned to icu1323 which allows me access to the ie security settings, even change the settings, but when I "Ok" them and access them again they have quite irritatingly set themselves back to the previous settings. I've tried restarting after the changes (which shouldn't be necessary) but still no luck. Any ideas?
