IS MY DVD DRIVE DAMAGE T_T please help!!!

  1. when i place the mini-cdr in my dvd drive, it made a loud screeeeaachhhing noise. i'm worried that the mini-cdr might have damage my drive.




    -did the mini-cdr damage the dvd drive?

    -did the mini cdr damage the lens inside?




    please help.
