Is my mobo compatible?

Can my motherboard run a core2duo or core2quad??
And If it can, any tips on what processor is best for a nice price.
Im upgrading my machine for more of a gaming pc, and i wana multi task so i thought the quad core would be good

Look up the specifications for the board on the motherboard manufacturer's website.

Generally, their manual or spec sheet will tell you the range of cpu options that are acceptable.
