Java access to internet is denied

I just installed the Avast anti-virus program and now when I try to open my Cabos file sharing program, it says that Java access is denied to the internet. Would appreciate any help with this, thanks!

Avast (as default installation) has 7 separate 'protection prividers'. Sorry I do not know what Cabos file sharing is, but if it is equivalent to instant messaging or p2p file transfer, then it falls under those two protective applications respectively. Each provider has it's own customisation settings, which you need to study. A good place to start would be Avast's main help site, where I am sure you will get sufficient guidance to enable java in the appropriate way.
