KOTOR Problem Please Help!!

I go down to the undercity and after talking with Igear go to the gate where the gatekeeper and a woman are arguing but while going there the screen freezes and after a while i come back to the desktop:dead: .Once this problem did'nt happen and i was able to see the scene and kill the rakghoul .Any suggestions?
i running this on a Dell Inspiron B130 with:
1 GB RAM
Intel Pentium M 1.73 GHz
Intel 915GM/GMS, 910 GML Express Chipset with 98 MB Graphics Memory

Any help would be really appreciated
