laptop goes in to sleep mode

  1. my laptop goes in to sleep mode every 5 seconds it doesen't matter if i am taking a brake for a second how can i correct this so i can keep the laptop on for as long as i need it for without it going in to sleep mode

    5 seconds ?? sure that's not an exageration?

    Anyway go into power options in control panel, have a look in there, there are some options about sleep mode and hibernation, oh and go into the BIOS theres some settings (usually) along the same lines...
