Laptop help!

i have a nec versapro va60h laptop with mobile celeron 600, can i upgrade to mobile p3 700/550 and how?

You would need to check the spec sheet for the motherboard in your laptop and see what is can support.

i've checked with sandra and it said my mobo can support up to p3 1.13G, but when upgrading to p3 700/550 speedstep, my system only run at 550 even with AC plugged in, what's wrong?
