HP laptop displaying a white screen during startup

Hi Everyone,
I'm having a issue with my HP Pavilion 15 laptop. The moment I press the power button, all I see is a white screen nothing else happens. I have tried pressing F8, removing the battery, but nothing seems to work. It just stays stuck on the white screen.

Can anyone help me figure out what might be wrong and any suggestions how to fix this?

Try removing the battery, disconnecting the ac power supply and then hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds. If that don't work try resetting BIOS defaults if you can get in the BIOS. BTW, how old is the pc and what os does it have?

A white screen on your HP Pavilion 15 at startup could be caused by several issues, including display or hardware problems. Here are a few troubleshooting steps:

  1. Hard Reset: Disconnect the battery and unplug the laptop. Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds, then reconnect and try starting it up again.
  2. External Display Test: Connect your laptop to an external monitor (if available) to check if it’s a display issue. If the external monitor works, the laptop’s display might need repair.
  3. Boot into BIOS: Try pressing F10 immediately after powering on to see if you can access the BIOS. If you can access it, this could indicate an issue with Windows rather than hardware.
If these steps don’t help, it may be a more complex hardware issue, and a technician could be needed to diagnose the display or motherboard.

Try safe mode for troubleshoot your issue.

Reseat the ram, battery or ssd/hdd

BIOS recovery
Turn off PC then omegla and Windows + B and Power button 15 sec while HP Logo after that you can see Bios recovery screen.

If anyone works, It's possible you have a hardware failure such as a defective screen, graphics card, or motherboard. In that case, you may need to contact HP support or visit a repair center.

A white screen usually indicates a display, BIOS, or graphics issue. You can try a hard reset by unplugging the charger, removing the battery, and holding the power button for 15–20 seconds, then powering it on again. If the screen stays white, the problem may require professional repair.
