Hello guys, my mom is planning to buy a laptop for me. Can you suggest what is the best specs that is capable for programming, gaming and high end software for video and image editing? Thank you and God bless.

So many choices...perhaps you can tell us what you have been using this past year and "where the shoe pinches" - where you have noted limitations in what you want to do.

For instance, screen size might be very important, if you have vision issues.

Do you need a specific operating system? PC or MAC or Linux?

Replacement warranty - how long? - warranty against defects? - warranty against breakage?

External keyboard? mouse? large screen?

HDMI? DisplayPort?

Storage? Large HDD or smaller faster SSD?

Thinking these through will give you a happier result.
