Laptop Wont Boot Up!!!

Last weekend i brought a laptop. its an advent 7103. Last night i was playing a LAN game with my friend and all seemed fine. This morning when i went to turn it on it did nothing. I pressed the on button and it started on alright but then it either bleeps once then black screen or just black screen with no bleep everytime i turn it on. It makes no attempt to boot up or anything. Whats happend here?

I had that happen a couple of weeks ago. Turned out to be the hard disc that had come adrift from its connector.

ah right yeh, i got it to work just now after setting to its default settings. Not sure what happend. i'll keep you posted if it hapends again.

grrr its happend again. Just turn it on and nothing happends. It turns on but does nothing. could it be faulty hardware?
