Last Q about drive partitions & formatting

Apologies for so many questions,
but I've been searching for answers
to these for some time. Sooner or
later I'll think of them all! Meantime,
thanks for your patience & help!

If I have a disk partitioned into 2 "drives"
and I want to remove the partition and
make it back into 1 "drive", do I have
to reformat the disk or can I keep the
info on one of the "drives"?

I.e. If I have C and D on 1 disk and
want to remove the partition to make
more room for C, and I remove the
data on D, can I then remove the
partition without losing the data
on C?

Yes, but you need special partition management software to resize partitions.
