The LG Gram comes in 13-, 14- and 15-inch sizes with a full metal body and weighing in at around 2 pounds.

Aside from its thin profile and the addition of Intel's latest 7th-generation Kaby Lake processors, the biggest highlight here is battery life. LG is making a huge claim by saying this year's 14-inch Gram will offer "up to 17 hours of battery life" on a single charge — last year’s model struggled to last more than just five hours. The updated 13- and 15-inch Gram will reportedly offer 17.5 and 15.5 hours, respectively. Of course we’ll have to get some real world testing to see if those numbers hold up.

Storage options include 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSDs and you can get it with up to 16 GB of memory. All three models feature 15 watt processors, 60 Wh batteries, 1920×1080 IPS displays, a fingerprint sensor built into the touchpad, a full-sized backlit keyboard, USB Type-C, USB 3.0, and HDMI ports.

The Gram features a relatively thin screen bezel, though not as thin as Dell’s XPS line of laptops, but it does make the same compromise by positioning the webcam below the screen instead of above it.

The base model will go for $850 when the lineup launches sometime in the first half of 2017.

Permalink to story.

https://www.techspot.com/news/67647-lg-refreshes-gram-laptops-kaby-lake-big-battery.html
[/parsehtml]
