Man behind lethal Call of Duty swatting pleads guilty to 51 charges, faces 20-year sentence

A lot of the above reminds me of the saying, hindsight is 20/20, plus we don't know all the fine details.

Assassinate? Lol, I can't tell if you're just trolling, or you're being hysterical. But you've provided no facts that support your "argument". Suggesting that police should've known more means nothing when you can't prove they were ignorant.
I'm serious. And I'm also not the one that needed to provide facts to save the mans life. You want to throw facts in my face, lets take it all back to the beginning. I'm not the one that needed to fact hunt before carrying out a sting operation. That is the only fact I need to keep my position. You on the other hand need to reconsider your vote for guilty until proven innocent.

I think I remember we have been down this road before with this topic. I'm stopping now because I know you are beyond swaying. I only pray they prosecute the next lunatic they give a gun and badge to. And by all means I hope they stop sting operations that are based on absolutely zero facts.

It's astounding that you refuse to understand that in the real world, it's hard to quickly verify legitimate sounding misinformation (especially dire misinformation). If the unfortunate victim didn't make a mistake and he was still shot, then we'd hope that negligence would be procecuted. But as it stands, your feelings on how the police (and their intel) should pretty much be 100% perfect doesn't make sense. Such thinking would then put people in time sensitive situations at risk.

And by all means I hope they stop sting operations that are based on absolutely zero facts.
Wow, and here's point and case as to your hysterics.
So if you call the police for a legit hostage situation against your family, you'd hope they say "we'll be there within an hour after we take 20mins to verify it", instead of immediately taking you seriously?
Yeah, it's a good thing you're stopping now lol
