Many, many CPU Issues

So I just upgraded my CPU and so far it hasn't been as great as I expected. I went from an fx-4300 to an fx-8320e and I have been having some big problems. I have been experiencing crashing, blue screens (clock_watchdog_timeout and others), I have had my overclocks fail, and over voltages fail as well. I have the Cooler Master Hyper T2 cooler for overclocking and my temps are stable so not sure what could be causing all this. My performance in games is also a hit for miss. Sometimes its amazing and other times its terrible. I thought it might be that I'm not giving it enough volts so I tried to do that and got even more confused. My motherboard doesn't exactly do the greatest job of explaining. When I try to change the volts it says to press + to add and - to subtract. But when I press plus once it goes up to 0.837500 V then every + after that goes up by small increments. I am very confused. I was starting to think it might be a PSU problem but I honestly have no idea. I'm not sure what it the root of all these problems and would love some help. Thanks! :)
